Why did you want to reapply for the Next Generation Committee?

I wanted to reapply to the committee because I’m passionate about the future of print and eager to contribute fresh perspectives to this evolving industry. Having been part of the committee last year, I’m hoping we can build on our progress and really start pushing our ideas forward. I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers and industry leaders, driving new initiatives and projects within the industry.

What are some of your strengths?

Collaboration – I enjoy working as part of a team and building relationships to ensure jobs and projects run smoothly.

Innovation – New ideas are essential for the committee, and bringing creativity into the mix helps massively.

Resilience – Working in this industry definitely builds resilience—it’s fast-paced, and things are constantly evolving.

What do you do in your job role?

My daily tasks include handling client inquiries via email and telephone, obtaining quotes, raising jobs from these quotes, and ensuring client projects leave the building efficiently and at the highest quality. I work closely with every stage of the process—from original order and pre-press to production and dispatch. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing ideas that were once just files on my computer screen come to life and appear all over the country.

Some fun facts about you—both in work and outside of work:

I represented England Rugby League at U18 level, playing against two different Australian sides. We lost both games, but it was definitely one of the best experiences I’ll ever have!
