FESPA UK to reintroduce two key face-to-face events this year

Updated: Aug 17, 2023

FESPA UK has announced a return to face-to-face events in 2021, refreshed membership options, and launched a new website.

As the economy across the UK and beyond starts to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, FESPA UK is reintroducing two key face-to-face events this year.

The events are part of a new range of services for the association’s members after working to look at the needs of businesses across the print sectors they serve.

Making important connections

FESPA UK’s primary purpose is to bring together the talents of the wide-format digital, textile, industrial and specialist printers and their suppliers across the country, with events playing a pivotal role.

A round-table Think Tank will be held at the end of June, bringing together printers and suppliers to discuss how the industry can move forward from COVID and broader topics such as sustainability, waste management and the impact of Brexit.

FESPA UK will also jointly host the UK Graphic Awards on 14 September with Vism, a rapidly growing provider of workflow management software for the wide-format print industry. This will be the first big opportunity for the industry to come together in almost 2 years.

A place where ‘competitors’ become ‘colleagues’.

Suzi Wilkinson, Director of FESPA UK, said: “FESPA UK is a crucial growth engine for the print industry across the UK and we know that our members place a great deal of importance on face-to-face meetings. That’s why we’re focusing on bringing back in-person events.

“Everything we do is aimed at supporting our members to succeed in business and we can facilitate introductions and help them form reciprocal relationships where ‘competitors’ become ‘colleagues’.

“All this is much more effective when people meet face-to-face, and we are excited to give members an excellent platform to build on in the COVID recovery by reintroducing in-person events in addition to our new online offering”

New membership options

The association has also simplified its membership options, with two packages – a member package for printers and installation companies and a partner package for suppliers to the industry.

New website

A new website launched today at fespauk.com which will highlight upcoming events and focus on the association’s core values. In the coming months it will become an important platform for sharing knowledge and experiences across the membership.

Responding to member needs

Carol Swift, Director at FESPA UK concluded “The work of our association is driven by members’ needs, through a responsive team who have a wealth of experience and a shared aim of bringing the industry together for the benefit of everyone involved. We’re excited to be launching this next phase of our relationship with our members.”
