Description of Category

This award looks at the creativity and visual impact of internal projects across sectors such as hospitality, office, corporate, hotels.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should be fixed to the interior of the building, and should create a lasting impression.

 

Elements to consider when entering a project

• Complexity of the brief
• Project Management (who they worked with, other sub-contractors etc.)
• The longevity of the products being used in a high-traffic area
• The creativity of the design and production
• The overall customer satisfaction
• The overall innovation of the project
• The overall visual impact of the finished work



2 Retail Graphics of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at the creativity and visual impact of graphics in a retail environment. These projects could be window displays, creative point of sale, seasonal displays or luxury.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should stand out from the crowd, offering something inspiring and different. Entries can be 2d or 3d and should make the consumer question how the display was achieved.

3 Roll-Out Project of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at the work and partnerships that go into large campaigns. It still recognises the creativity and diversity of the project, but also looks at logistics, organisation and collaboration.

 

Description of Entry

Entries can be either stand-alone or fixed to the building and should create a considerable impression on all who see them. Project can be internal or external.

• The Creativity of the design
• The overall customer satisfaction
• The overall innovation of the project
• The overall visual impact of the final design

4 Event & Exhibition Graphics of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at the design and construction of live event and exhibition spaces.

 

Description of Entry

Entries can either be stage graphics or the dressing and construction of a full event / venue.

• Project Management (who they worked with other sub-contractors etc.)
• The longevity of the products being used in a highly trafficked area
• The Creativity of the design
• The overall innovation of the project

5 Experiential Project of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at the visual impact the project has on the consumer.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should not only focus on the end product but should endeavour to create an overall experience for the consumer.

• The longevity of the products being used in a highly trafficked area
• The Creativity of the design
• The overall customer satisfaction
• The overall innovation of the project
• The overall visual impact of the final design

6 Pop Up Exhibition of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at the pop-up exhibitions and temporary art events in Galleries and Museum’s or warehouses.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should take over a large space and create a temporary experience for consumers to enjoy.

• The Creativity of the design

7 Innovational Graphics of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award looks at projects where the team have gone outside the ordinary to produce something spectacular.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should be unique, initiative and should inspire not only the consumer but other like-minded businesses.

 

Elements to consider when entering a project

• Complexity of the brief
• Project Management (who they worked with other sub-contractors etc.)
• The Creativity of the design
• The overall customer satisfaction
• The overall innovation of the project
• The overall visual impact of the final design
• Any restrictions or considerations to the project they had to overcome
• Use of disposable and sustainable materials


8 Sustainability Achievement Award

 

Description of Category

This award recognises initiatives that have gone the extra mile to make a meaningful difference to the company’s impact on the environment / their sustainability.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should be able to produce clear evidence of how they are reducing not only their carbon foot print, but also how they are changing the way they work with regards to materials, machinery and waste disposal.

 

Elements to consider when entering a project

• Use of disposable and sustainable materials within the business
• The overall motivation of the business to commit to change
• The overall visual impact of the projects submitted using sustainable materials
• Evidence that the sustainable materials have longevity and are comparable product to the previous alternative
• The ongoing commitment to sustainability


9 Rising Star of the Year

 

Description of Category

This award recognises individuals who have been in the industry for 2 years or less and have shown great potential and a natural flair for someone of their experience level. This category is open to all ages.

 

Description of Entry

Entries should be nominated by their peers/ management team.

 

Elements to consider when entering a project

• Teamwork
• The desire to improve themselves and the company
• Technical understanding relating to the job
• Ability to meet identified quality requirements
• Initiative
• The overall reason why they have been nominated
